Chew again comfortably and smile without complexes

What happens when i have lost one or several teeth?

Dental implants are a successful solution to replace missing teeth, restoring chewing function and aesthetics. They are comfortable, resistant and safe.

What if i don't have enough bone to place an implant?

In a 3d radiograph we can diagnose the lack of bone both in height and width. But don’t worry – we have different solutions to regenerate lost bone in both height and width. Depending on the amount of bone lost, implants can be placed simultaneously with bone regeneration or postponed for a few months after healing of bone regeneration.

Step by step in the placement of dental implants

1

Diagnosis
space

To assess the placement of dental implants, it is essential to carefully analyze the following points:

Check the condition of your mouth

Assess the amount of bone in height and width using a 3D x-ray such as CBCT (CT scan with less radiation).

2

Implant placement

Dental implant placement is a simple and painless surgical procedure, especially with the use of splints that guide the position of the implant.

3

Healing
space

After placement of the implant, it should be completely integrated with the bone. Generally, this period is 2 months. If the situation allows, an immediate temporary load can be made on the day of the implant placement so that the patient does not walk without teeth.

4

Placement of the final crown

Once healed, we will take some records to make the final crown. After three weeks you will have the crown in place and you will be able to start chewing normally.

5

Maintenance and overhaul

To ensure a successful and long-lasting treatment, it is essential to follow the check-ups and oral hygiene that the doctor has recommended to keep your teeth and implants healthy.

Can dental implants be placed on the same day as teeth removal?

Immediate implantology involves placing dental implants on the same day the tooth is removed as long as the conditions of the patient and the area to be treated allow it. In this way, the number of surgeries (removal and placement of the implant) and especially the time of the treatment are reduced, since after removing a tooth, it is necessary to wait 3 to 4 months for the bone to heal.

To assess the placement of dental implants, it is essential to carefully analyze the following points:

  1. Check the condition of your mouth
  2. Assess the amount of bone in height and width using a 3D x-ray such as CBCT (CT scan with less radiation).
